Deployment Guide: Install the Convoflo Add-in on Outlook

Secure your communications and file your client documents directly inside your inbox. Deploy the Convoflo add-in across your entire organization in just a few clicks through your Microsoft 365 admin center.

Mandatory Prerequisite

1. Download Your Manifest File (.xml)

To ensure maximum security and respect your data governance (Law 25 compliance), the Convoflo add-in deploys using a secure local configuration file.

Note: This is a Microsoft 365 configuration file. It should not be executed or double-clicked on your computer.

Administrator Procedure

2. Centralized Deployment on Your Office 365 Account

As a firm owner or manager, you can perform this configuration yourself in under 3 minutes directly from your Microsoft management space. If your firm relies on an external IT provider, you can also forward this guide to them.

Installation steps in the Admin Center:

  1. Log in to your Microsoft 365 admin portal at: admin.cloud.microsoft.
  2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Settings, then select Integrated Apps.
  3. Click the Upload custom apps button in the middle of the page.
  4. Under the "App type" section, select Office Add-in from the dropdown menu.
  5. Select the option to "Upload manifest file (.xml) from device", then upload the manifest.xml file downloaded in Step 1.
  6. Assign the add-in to your firm's users (your entire organization or specific members), then confirm the deployment.
Immediate Result: The Convoflo add-in will automatically activate in the Outlook toolbar for all selected team members, without requiring any technical action on their part.
Display Delay

Add-in not showing up for your users yet?

Depending on Microsoft server synchronization speeds, propagation can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Simply ask your users to fully close their Outlook application and reopen it. The Secure with Convoflo icon will then appear in their toolbar ribbon.
